Je zag mij al snel tekenen, spelen en de zotste verhaaltjes verzinnen. Na veel knutselen op vrijdagnamiddag was het tijd om naar de kunstschool te gaan en daar ben ik onvoorwaardelijk verliefd geworden op de schoonheid en zinnigheid van kunst.
Wat nestkastjes bouwen is voor een nestkastjesbouwer, dat is kunst voor mij.

From the start on you could spot me drawing and making up the craziest stories. After lots of crafting on Friday afternoons, it was time to go to art school, where I fell unconditionally in love with the beauty and meaning of Art.
What building a birdhouse is to a birdhousebuilder, that is what art is to me.
